Este evento se celebrará el 28 de septiembre a las 15h de manera online
El objetivo de este evento es presentar las mejores prácticas, así como los grandes retos e iniciativas que están emprendiendo países como Gales y Euskadi para lograr relaciones de colaboración a largo plazo que beneficien a la sociedad en su conjunto contribuyendo al desarrollo económico y social.
El encuentro estará presidido por Kevin Morgan (Gales) e Igor Campillo (Euskadi) y contará con la participación de:
- Adolfo Morais, Viceconsejero de Universidades e Investigación de Gobierno Vasco
- Kellie Beirne, Directora ejecutiva de Cardiff Capital Region
- Miren Artaraz, Directora de Política y Coordinación Universitaria de Gobierno Vasco y Directora del clúster 4gune de Ingeniería, Ciencia y Tecnología de Euskadi
- Profesor Phil Brown, autor de Review of Digital Innovation for the Economy and the Future of Work in Wales
- Sara de la Rica, Directora de la Fundación Iseak y profesora de Economía de la UPV / EHU
- Profesor Chris Taylor, Director de SPARK [Social Science Research Park], Universidad de Cardiff
Esta iniciativa cuenta con el pleno apoyo del Gobierno Vasco, cuya estrategia considera no solo el compromiso de la Universidad sino también la cooperación con Gales y es que ambos países buscan proporcionar un mejor entorno para las universidades en términos de participación empresarial y de la sociedad civil.

4GuneBoth research projects have been funded by Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE) in the framework of its collaboration with the 4gune - Basque Engineering, Science and Technology Cluster, which includes, among other university centres, the Deusto Faculty of Engineering. RENSKILL and S4SYMB are aimed at identifying competences in the field of renewable energy and energy efficiency.
