Description

The objective of the challenge was to develop the dynamic model of vehicle components to be integrated into the AIC driving platform. The challenge had 3 phases:

  1. Bench tests to obtain the experimental response of the selected component.
  2. Development of the mathematical model to simulate the dynamic behaviour of the component.
  3. Numerical-experimental correlation of the model. Components of interest: tire and aerodynamic model.

The goal of this challenge was to:

  • Obtain flexible and scalable dynamic models that allow to influence their parameterisation and the calculation method that defines it in a simple way.
  • Define a complete experimental campaign to serve as a basis for correlation of results from future configurations that includes the necessary tools and test methodology to be followed.
