Description

The objective of the project was to develop a Unity-based urban environment to be integrated into the AIC driving platform for vehicle dynamics and ride & comfort applications. The project had 3 phases:

  1. Selection of the methodology and work tools to be used to achieve the challenge.
  2. Development of the urban environment to be modelled.
  3. Integration of the developed environment into the AIC driving platform.

The expected results were to:

  • Establish a methodology for developing Unity-based graphical environments (or exportable to Unity) that provides a balance between quality, environmental recognition, and ease of development.
  • Establish a methodology that is applicable to any type of environment that you want to regenerate.
  • Develop an integrated environment in the AIC platform based on this methodology.
